At EcoVida Health we recognize that privacy is important and we take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy applies to all of the services and websites offered by EcoVida Health, the EcoVida Project, Pura EcoVida and EcoVida Holdings Corporation S.A or its subsidiaries or affiliated companies.

EcoVida Health is part of EcoVida Holdings Corporation S.A registered in Costa Rica.

Information we collect and how we use it:
- Information you provide: When you join EcoVida Health and become a member, we ask you for personal information (such as your name, email address and an account password). We may combine the information you submit under your account with information from other EcoVida services or websites in order to provide you with a better experience and to improve the quality of our services. For certain services, we may give you the opportunity to “opt-out” of storing such information. We do not rent, sell or share your information to third party people or companies except as outlined in this Privacy Policy.
- Log information: Your password is maintain in an encrypted form and cannot be accessed by any employees of EcoVida Health.
- User communications: When you send an email or other communications to EcoVida Health, we may retain those communications in order to process your inquiries, respond to your requests and improve our services.
- Other sites: This Privacy Policy applies to EcoVida Health services only. We do not exercise control over the sites posted on the EcoVida Health site, displayed as search results or displayed as links on Google Ads. These other sites may place their own cookies or other files on your computer, collect data or solicit personal information from you. EcoVida Health does not have control or take responsibility for these other sites or advertisements.

EcoVida Health only processes personal information for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy. In addition to the above, such purposes include:
- Providing our services to users, improving our services, conducting research, contacting you with updates regarding our services, products and websites of EcoVida Health, the EcoVida Project, Pura EcoVida and EcoVida Holdings Corporation S.A or its subsidiaries or affiliated companies;
- Auditing, research and analysis in order to maintain, protect and improve our services;
- Ensuring the technical functioning of our services and websites; and
- Developing new services.

EcoVida Health processes personal information on servers in the United States of America and in other countries. In some cases, we process personal information on a server outside your own country. We may process personal information to provide our own services. We do not rent, sell or share your information to third party people or companies except as outlined in this Privacy Policy.

This policy does not apply to the practices of companies that are not owned or controlled by EcoVida Health, the EcoVida Project, Pura EcoVida and EcoVida Holdings Corporation S.A or its subsidiaries or affiliated companies, or to people that are not employed or managed by EcoVida Health, the EcoVida Project, Pura EcoVida and EcoVida Holdings Corporation S.A or its subsidiaries or affiliated companies.

Children:
EcoVida Health, the EcoVida Project, Pura EcoVida and EcoVida Holdings Corporation S.A or its subsidiaries or affiliated companies do not contact children under age 16. If you are under the age of 16 you are not permitted to use this site. If we are notified that a user is under the age of 16 then we will delete that user from EcoVida Health and remove his or her personal information from our records. Choices for personal information:
When you become a member of EcoVida Health, we ask you to provide personal information. We do not rent, sell or share your information to third party people or companies except as outlined in this Privacy Policy. Where ever possible we provide “opt-out” requests to our members and contacts.

You can delete your EcoVida Health account by sending a detailed email to contact@ecovidahealth.com

Please note that by deleting your EcoVida Health membership account you will not be automatically included on our “opt-out” list. Please include your request for “opt-out” in your email requesting for membership account deletion.

We reserve the right to send you certain communications related to EcoVida Health services, such as service announcements and administrative messages, that are considered part of your EcoVida Health membership, without offering you the opportunity to opt out of receiving them.

Information sharing:
EcoVida Health, the EcoVida Project, Pura EcoVida and EcoVida Holdings Corporation S.A or its subsidiaries or affiliated companies only share personal information with third party people and/or companies in the following limited circumstances:
- We request and obtain your direct consent. We require opt-in consent for the sharing of any personal information.
- To satisfy any applicable law, regulation, legal process or enforceable governmental request which includes but is not limited to responding to subpoenas, court orders, or legal process, or to establish or exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims.
- To enforce applicable Terms of Use, including investigation of potential violations thereof
- To investigate, detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, illegal activities, security or technical issues
- To protect against imminent harm to the rights, property or safety of EcoVida Health, its users or the public as required or permitted by law.

If EcoVida Health, the EcoVida Project, Pura EcoVida and EcoVida Holdings Corporation S.A or its subsidiaries or affiliated companies becomes involved in a merger, acquisition, or any form of sale of some or all of its assets, we will provide notice before personal information is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy. We will provide you an “opt-out” option at that time to have your personal information removed from our records prior to completion of any merger, acquisition, or any form of sale of some or all of its assets.

We may share certain pieces of non-personal information with third parties, such as the number of EcoVida Health Members/Users. Such information does not identify you individually.

We do not rent, sell or share your information to third party people or companies except as outlined in this Privacy Policy.

Information security:
We take appropriate security measures to protect against unauthorized access to or unauthorized alteration, disclosure or destruction of data. These include internal reviews of our data collection, storage and processing practices and security measures to guard against unauthorized access to systems where we store personal data. We restrict access to personal information to employees, contractors and agents who need to know that information in order to operate, develop or improve our services. These individuals are bound by confidentiality obligations and may be subject to discipline, including termination and criminal prosecution, if they fail to meet these obligations.

Data integrity:
EcoVida Health, the EcoVida Project, Pura EcoVida and EcoVida Holdings Corporation S.A or its subsidiaries or affiliated companies process personal information only for the purposes for which it was collected and in accordance with this Privacy Policy. We take reasonable steps to ensure that the personal information we process is accurate, complete, and current, but we depend on our users to update or correct their personal information whenever necessary.

Accessing and updating personal information:
When you use EcoVida Health services, we make good faith efforts to provide you with access to your personal information and either to correct this data if it is inaccurate or to delete such data at your request if it is not otherwise required to be retained by law or for legitimate business purposes. We ask individual users to identify themselves and the information requested to be accessed, corrected or removed before processing such requests, and we may decline to process requests that are unreasonably repetitive or systematic, require disproportionate technical effort, jeopardize the privacy of others, or would be extremely impractical. In any case where we provide information access and correction, we perform this service free of charge, except if doing so would require a disproportionate effort.

If you wish to update your personal information please log into your EcoVida Health account, go to your Profile and then click on “Settings”.

Enforcement:
EcoVida Health, the EcoVida Project, Pura EcoVida and EcoVida Holdings Corporation S.A or its subsidiaries or affiliated companies regularly review compliance with this Privacy Policy. Please feel free to direct any questions or concerns regarding this Privacy Policy or treatment of personal information by contacting contact@ecovidahealth.com

When we receive a written complaint, it is EcoVida Health’s policy to contact the complaining user regarding his or her concerns. We will cooperate with the appropriate regulatory authorities, including local data protection authorities, to resolve any complaints regarding the transfer of personal data that cannot be resolved between EcoVida Health and an individual.

Changes to this Privacy Policy:
Please note that this Privacy Policy may change from time to time. We will post any Privacy Policy changes on this page and, if the changes are significant, we will provide a more prominent notice (including, for certain services, email notification of Privacy Policy changes to your primary email address supplied by you). Each version of this Privacy Policy will be identified at the top of the page by its effective date, and we will also keep prior versions of this Privacy Policy in an archive.
